New Roofs

When a roof has reached the end of its serviceable life, patch repairs stop being economic. A full re-roof is a long-term investment that protects the entire structure beneath it — and done properly, a new slate or tile roof will outlast the people living under it.

We carry out full strip-and-replace roofs across Angus and Tayside on traditional Scottish tenements, semi-detached and detached houses, rural cottages and small commercial buildings. Every job starts with a proper structural survey: timbers, sarking boards, wall heads and chimney stacks all get inspected before we quote, so there are no nasty surprises mid-job.

Our installations use breathable underlay, fully treated battens, mechanically fixed natural slate or concrete tile, and proper code 4 lead detailing at valleys, abutments and chimneys. Insulation is upgraded to current building standards where access allows, and we can integrate Velux roof windows, dormer work and skylights into the same job.

Scaffolding, skip hire, building warrant support and clean handover are all included in our quotes. Most domestic re-roofs are completed in one to three weeks weather permitting, and we keep you informed at every stage.
