Drone Surveys

Getting eyes on a roof used to mean scaffolding, cherry pickers or a roofer balancing on a ladder. Drone surveys have changed that. Using professional aerial equipment we can inspect any roof in Montrose, Angus or Tayside in detail — safely, quickly and without the cost or disruption of access equipment.

Drone surveys are particularly useful for difficult-access properties: tall Victorian tenements, listed buildings, churches, commercial units and any property where scaffolding would be expensive or impractical just to confirm whether a repair is needed. We capture high-resolution still imagery and 4K video of every elevation, ridge, valley, chimney and abutment.

After every survey we sit down with the footage, identify any defects — slipped slates, cracked lead, blocked valleys, failed pointing, storm damage — and explain clearly what we've found. You get honest recommendations on what needs to be done, what can be monitored, and what doesn't need touching at all. No pressure to book work that isn't needed.

Drone surveys are also invaluable for storm damage insurance claims, pre-purchase property checks and tracing the true source of persistent leaks. We work on both residential and commercial properties across Angus and Tayside, and all flights are conducted in line with CAA regulations.
