Flat Roofing

Flat roofs work hard. They sit exposed to rain, frost, leaf debris and pooling water year-round, and when the covering fails the damage spreads into ceilings and joists quickly. We install and replace flat roofs on garages, single-storey extensions, dormers, porches and small commercial buildings across Angus and Tayside.

We work in three main systems: EPDM rubber (long-life, seamless on smaller roofs), GRP fibreglass (hard-wearing, suitable for walked-on terraces and balconies) and high-performance torch-on felt (cost-effective and proven on Scottish tenement flat roofs). We'll honestly recommend the right system for your roof, budget and access — not just whichever is most profitable.

Every job includes a proper inspection of the existing decking. Soft or rotten boards are replaced before the new covering goes down, and we form proper upstands, drip edges and flashings into surrounding masonry so water is shed correctly rather than tracking back under the membrane.

We also handle flat roof repairs, blister patches, ponding investigations and skylight or lantern installations where the existing roof is otherwise sound.
